Milky Vey · Veyo Volcano under the Milky Way

Four years ago, I took a similar photograph in Veyo, Utah. Two nights ago I decided to try again on the way back from Pine Valley, Utah. The foreground was lit thanks to a local police officer. A sheriff pulled up behind me as this shot was almost exposed lighting up the foreground. He wanted to make sure we were safe and didn’t have car troubles. We are very fortunate to have a clear, dark sky close to home.
